The Project
The game was developed with a patron model in mind, so its code needed to be flexible for live updates to support easy content updates, like adding new ingredients, girls, and cutscenes.
The game also features a cutscene system with custom tools to allow artists to use simple static images combined with dynamic dialog bubbles to tell stories and make the scenes more intimate. This flexible workflow unburdens artists from needing to create complex animations and allows them to create more complex stories with simple assets.
